Structural Steel |
![]() From a couple of tones in a house extension to 50 tones of portaframes for an industrial warehouse we have the necessary skills to see the job right through to the end, not just in draughting too, some customers come back to us for a method statement! As you would expect we can survey the job, please visit our Capital Draughting site here for more info, or draw straight from architects and engineers drawings, what ever the client prefers, then a General Arrangement is prepared for approval. This normally involves a little design work from us that can be done in two ways. First, we can get our engineer to do all the design work for the connections as long as we can get a loading drawing from the main contractors engineer. Secondly, we can draw the connections to the guidelines from the BCSA books and our practical experience and have the main contractors engineer approve the details when it goes of for approval, Either way is fine with us. When back from approvals any amendments we make then a construction issue is issued. Most of our clients then like to have fabrication drawings produced detailing each piece of steel and a identifying mark added to the G.A. for site fitting. Most Clients like a holding down bolt drawing to accompany the G.A.s as well as a steel section and length list and a bolt list which is no problem. For more information or quotations on the above.
